Ancient Mega Pack Wiki uses as few cookies as it can get away with. We do not use analytics or tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share personal data with data brokers.
Essential cookies
These are required for the site to function — mainly to keep you signed in and to protect forms. They're only set once you sign in, and they can't be turned off without breaking the ability to log in.
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| next-auth.session-token | Keeps you signed in between page loads. | Essential | 30 days or until sign-out |
| next-auth.csrf-token | Protects sign-in and account forms against cross-site request forgery. | Essential | Session |
| next-auth.callback-url | Returns you to the page you were on after signing in. | Essential | Session |
Cookie names may carry a __Secure- prefix on HTTPS.
Local storage
Alongside cookies, the site stores a small amount of data in your browser's local storage — for example unsent comment drafts, so you don't lose a long reply if the page reloads. This never leaves your device and is cleared with your browser data.
Advertising
If advertising is enabled, the site serves ads through Google AdSense, which sets its own cookies to measure performance and limit repeat ads. Those cookies are controlled by Google, not us — review how Google uses data from partner sites and manage your preferences at My Ad Center.
Third-party sign-in
Signing in with Google sends you to Google's own login, which sets cookies under Google's control and privacy policy. We only receive your email address to create and identify your account.
Controlling cookies
- Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its privacy settings.
- Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in — the rest of the wiki stays readable.
- Signing out clears your session cookie.
